The Polti Steam method

The company stood out right from the start as a leader in domestic and professional steam cleaning and sanitisation appliances. Over the years it has strengthened its position until its name has become synonymous with innovation, without neglecting values such as respect for the environment and human health.

For professional cleaning, the company has developed and consolidated the POLTI STEAM METHOD: a complete, integrated solution capable of satisfying the different requirements of cleaning and disinfection processes using steam alone.

Sanitisation and disinfection operations normally require a different approach because they have different needs and goals: cleaning removes dirt while disinfection makes it possible to decrease or even eliminate the numbers of microbes.

The Polti Steam Method performs both processes with the utmost efficiency thanks to the role played by the most ecological, powerful cleaning substance in nature: steam.

Polti steam for CLEANING is dry saturated steam generated under high pressure, containing tiny particles of liquid; it acts as a natural surfactant, dissolving dirt and getting into everything, even the hardest-to-reach corners.

With the passage of steam the heat detaches and dissolves dirt, retaining everything in it: germs, oils, bacteria and dust mites, to guarantee quick, safe hygiene without chemical cleaning products.

Mondial Vap machines produce this kind of steam at high temperatures (between 120°C and 150°C); they are not only powerful steam generators (with a pressure of up to 7 bar), but also powerful vacuum cleaners, suctioning up dust and liquids.
They have unlimited autonomy so you need not interrupt your work to top up the boiler.

Polti steam for DISINFECTION is dry superheated saturated steam, almost entirely without liquid particles.
Steam is heated up to a temperature of 180°C by the Polti Sani System.
The system eliminates bacteria, fungi and viruses in seconds, reducing the risk of contamination.

What makes this system unusual is the steam, generated in the boiler under high pressure and then heated to a high temperature in an expansion chamber (a world-wide Polti patent). During the process the steam acquires heat and, at the same time, the quantity of moisture in it is reduced to near zero.
Steam is automatically mixed with HPMed sanitiser as it is released. HPMed is dermatologically tested, and the mixture of steam and HPMed can even be sprayed when there are people in the room.

Polti steam is a valuable ally in protecting the environment. Use of steam to clean significantly reduces consumption of scarce resources such as water and does away with the need for excessive use of cleaning products and chemicals, meaning less pollution of the soil and water.
And that's not all: Polti steam is safe for human health too. The chemical normally used in professional cleaning processes can be harmful when breathed in during use, and they leave residues on the surfaces treated.
This won’t happen if cleaning and disinfection is performed using Polti steam, which sanitises, disinfects and improves the quality of the air.
